It is our pleasure to serve the residents of Glen Carbon with excellent garage door service. Glen Carbon is a village in Madison County and located 19 miles northeast of St. Louis on SR 157, 159 and Interstate 270. The village was founded in 1801 when Colonel Samuel Judy received a military grand for 100 acres of land near the base of the bluffs north of Judy Creek.
Glen Carbon was incorporated as a village in 1892. Three railroads once served the village over time. The first was The Illinois Central Railroad, which is now home to the Heritage Bike Trail. Norfolk Southern and Chicago and North Western were the other two but are now home to the Nickel Plate Bike Trail. The Village is served by the Edwardsville Community Unit District7 School System.
