We have fun serving the unincorporated community of Prairie Lea. It’s right here in Caldwell County, Texas. Prairie Lea was founded in 1820, making it the county’s oldest community of record. The town received its name from Sam Houston himself, who decided to name it after his fiancee, Margaret Lea.

Prairie Lea is about equidistant from San Antonio and Austin, Texas. It’s on Route 80 between Interstate 35 and Interstate 10. The teenagers in the community attend Prairie Lea High School. Some of the neighboring communities are Stairtown, Fentress, Staples, and Luling.
