We love serving the citizens of Powell, Ohio. This lovely city in Delaware County was founded in 1801 under the name Middlebury as the railroad expanded westward.. The original settlers there were from Middlebury, Connecticut and took the name with them. When Judge Thomas Powell established the first Post Office, the town decided to name the town in his honor.

Powell is in western Delaware County between US Highway 23 and the Scioto River. It is also between Dublin and Delaware. It is not far from the northern section of the Interstate 270 bypass around Columbus. One can easily reach the capital by hopping onto Highway 23. Powell Rd and Liberty Street are the main streets through town.
