It’s a great pleasure running our business in Atwater, Ohio. The township, located in the southeast part of Portage County, was named after Caleb Atwater, a captain in the army. We currently have two main churches in town: Truth Baptist Church and LifePointe Church.
Where is Atwater?
US Highway 224 runs right around our township where it crosses over Route 183. It is neighbored by Randolph, Limaville, Yale, Edinburg, Rootstown, and North Benton. Highway 224 runs straight through to Akron. We’re also not far from Interstate 76. Waterloo Road is the main road through town east to west, and Bank Street runs north to south.
What to do around town
Cana Valley Winery offers tours of the vineyards, tastings, and even food at their restaurant. The restaurant has a rotating menu each week of wonderful dishes.
